Shaping the Future of Todmorden Makery - Community Consultation

🛠️ About this consultation
#

As Todmorden Makery continues to evolve, we would like to hear from members, volunteers, participants, partners and the wider community about what matters most to you.

This consultation is being organised by Mick Chesterman and Steve Summers in their roles as Directors of Scavenger Labs CIC, the parent company of Todmorden Makery. The purpose of the consultation is to gather feedback from the community to help inform future decision-making about the Makery.

🎯 Why are we consulting?
#

Our aim is to gather perspectives about the Makery to help us decide how the project should be organised and developed in the future. We would particularly value your contribution whether you are a current, former or potential future member or volunteer.

We also want to gather ideas about how the Makery can be as welcoming, inclusive and sustainable as possible. We are particularly keen to hear from people with different backgrounds, experiences and perspectives, including those who may not currently feel represented or involved.

📝 What happens next?
#

Please complete the consultation by 17th August 2026.

Once the consultation has closed, we will publish the responses and invite everyone to a public community meeting. This will be an opportunity to discuss the findings together, explore different ideas and perspectives, and help shape the future direction of Todmorden Makery.

ℹ️ Please note
#

This consultation is not a complaints process. If you wish to raise a complaint or give feedback that is not suitable for a public process, please use the Makery complaint and feedback process instead.

❤️ Thank you
#

Thank you for taking the time to contribute. We hope as many people as possible will take part and help shape the Makery’s next chapter.
